Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 30, 2026

Alematic Brewery & Coffee Bar (“Alematic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates alematicbrewing.com and the Alematic mobile app. This policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared when you use our website or app, submit a form, join our mailing list, contact us, or use an Alematic account or membership feature.

Some sections below apply specifically to the website or specifically to the Alematic App. Where that matters, we identify the applicable service.

Alematic App

The Alematic App provides account, membership, digital membership card, benefit, reward, redemption, event, and related customer features.

When you use the app, Alematic may process information associated with your account, including your display name, email address, account-verification status, membership information, membership-card information, benefits, redemptions, reward history, and account-deletion requests.

The app also uses limited session and device information needed to operate and protect your account, such as your device platform, app version, device label, session dates, and security-event outcomes.

Your password may be submitted when you sign in or reauthenticate, but the app does not display or retain your password as plain-text app data. Sign-in credentials used to maintain a session are stored using the device’s secure credential storage.

Alematic may use app information to authenticate and protect your account; display membership, card, benefit, and reward information supplied by Alematic’s systems; process redemptions and account requests; prevent fraud or abuse; troubleshoot service issues; provide customer support; and maintain appropriate security and business records.

Alematic does not sell personal information associated with your app account.

Location

The current version of the Alematic App does not request or use your precise or approximate device location.

If Alematic introduces a location-based feature in the future, such as an optional location-aware check-in feature, we will update this policy and provide any required permission explanation before enabling that functionality.

Support and external services

If you contact Alematic for app support, privacy help, or account assistance, we may receive the information you choose to provide in your message along with information reasonably needed to investigate the issue.

The Alematic App may also open first-party or third-party websites in your device’s browser, including ordering or other services operated outside the app. When you leave the Alematic App, the privacy practices of the destination service may apply.

For app assistance, use Alematic App Support.

Alematic App account deletion

You can request deletion of your Alematic account from the app or through our public account deletion page.

A deletion request requires account reauthentication. When a request is accepted, Alematic provides a request ID and a seven-day cancellation deadline and signs out all current sessions immediately.

Before the cancellation deadline, you may cancel the request using the request ID, email address, and password. Cancelling a request does not restore sessions that were previously signed out.

After the cancellation deadline, authorized processing removes or anonymizes direct account identity and credential links, account consents, membership-card links, and personal benefit links.

Limited records may remain for specific operational or legal purposes. Security-operation evidence is retained for up to 90 days, deletion and claim evidence for up to 365 days, and financial records may remain in the applicable external financial systems of record where required.

We do not describe an account deletion as complete until the server has completed the deletion process.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the website. The website uses measurement ID G-C7Y5MW0XQQ.

Google states that its default Analytics implementation collects information such as user and session counts, approximate geographic location, and browser and device information. A normal website tag may also transmit the page URL, page title, referring source, campaign information, and measured website interactions. Google receives network information such as an internet address when processing the request and may use it to determine approximate location.

Google Analytics uses browser identifiers and first-party cookies, including _ga and related Analytics cookies, to distinguish browsers and sessions and calculate usage statistics. These identifiers are not names, email addresses, or customer account numbers. See Google’s Analytics data-collection documentation and its explanation of how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Alematic’s website tag is not configured to send names, email addresses, form answers, uploaded files, or other directly identifying form information to Google Analytics. Google’s own Analytics policies prohibit customers from sending personally identifying information to Analytics.

The website implementation:

  • Sets allow_google_signals to false.
  • Sets allow_ad_personalization_signals to false.
  • Does not configure User-ID.
  • Does not add Google Ads remarketing.
  • Does not add Meta Pixel or another advertising or conversion pixel.
  • Does not send Tally form answers as Analytics events.
  • Does not load Analytics in WordPress administration, feeds, previews, REST requests, AJAX requests, or logged-in administrator sessions.

These statements describe the website implementation. Google’s account-level services, settings, and processing remain governed by Google’s own policies and controls.

Analytics choices

You can limit Analytics collection by:

  • Blocking or deleting cookies through your browser.
  • Using browser privacy or tracking-protection controls.
  • Installing Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Blocking Analytics cookies should not prevent you from reading ordinary website content.

Tally forms

The newsletter, contact, private-event, employment, donation, feedback, and vendor-application forms currently visible on the website are provided through embedded Tally forms.

When you open or submit one of these forms, Tally may receive:

  • The answers and files you submit.
  • Technical information needed to display, operate, and secure the form.
  • Generated respondent or submission identifiers.
  • The website page from which the embedded form was opened.
  • Website query parameters forwarded to the form where the embed or form is configured to receive them.

Do not place sensitive personal information in a website URL or query parameter.

Alematic staff may review form submissions, receive them by email, or retain them in an administrative system for the purpose described by the form. Vendor applications may also be stored as private records in Alematic’s WordPress Vendor Manager.

Vendor payment is not requested when the application is first submitted. If an application is approved, Alematic provides separate payment instructions.

Tally processes information according to its Privacy Notice and Data Processing Agreement.

Newsletter and email communications

The newsletter signup form is provided through Tally. If you subscribe, Alematic may use the submitted email address to send brewery, coffee-bar, food, event, or market updates.

Marketing messages should include an unsubscribe method. You may also ask to be removed through Alematic’s Contact Us form.

Messages generated by website forms may pass through WordPress, Alematic’s configured email-delivery service, and the recipient’s email provider. Those services may process message content and delivery metadata as needed to deliver, secure, troubleshoot, or log the communication. The downstream bulk-email provider is not named here until it is independently verified.

Website hosting, security, caching, and logs

The website is hosted by Hostinger and currently uses Wordfence and LiteSpeed components for security, caching, and website operation.

These systems may process technical information such as:

  • Internet address.
  • Browser or user-agent information.
  • Requested URL.
  • Date and time of a request.
  • Response or error information.
  • Login and security events.
  • Information needed to detect abuse or maintain the website.

Server, security, caching, and email-delivery logs are used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website. Cached copies of public pages may be stored temporarily for performance.

Provider information is available from:

Google Maps and external links

The Contact Us page includes an embedded Google Map. Loading or interacting with that map connects your browser to Google and may provide Google with technical information about the request. Embedded Google Maps are covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

The website also links to services and websites operated by other organizations, including B-Side Coffee Bar ordering, Facebook, and Instagram. If you follow an external link, the other organization’s privacy policy and practices apply. Alematic does not control those external services.

Cookies and browser storage

The website and its service providers may use cookies or similar browser storage for:

  • Google Analytics measurement.
  • WordPress administration and logged-in staff sessions.
  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • Website operation and performance.
  • Embedded Tally forms or Google Maps.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking operational or third-party storage may prevent embedded forms, maps, administrative features, or other parts of the website from working as intended.

Retention

Alematic retains information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, ordinary business records, security, troubleshooting, dispute resolution, or applicable legal obligations.

Retention varies by system and purpose:

  • Alematic has approved a 14-month retention setting for Google Analytics user-level and event-level information. Google explains that this setting controls automatic deletion of user-level and event-level data, while standard aggregated reports may not be affected in the same way. See Google’s data-retention documentation.
  • Tally submissions remain subject to Alematic’s Tally workspace settings and business practices.
  • Vendor applications may remain in Alematic’s private WordPress workflow while needed for market administration and recordkeeping.
  • Emails and other form records may remain in business mailboxes or administrative systems.
  • Hosting, security, caching, and delivery logs follow the applicable system settings and operational needs.
  • Some records may be retained longer when reasonably needed for accounting, security, dispute resolution, or a valid legal obligation.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may be able to ask Alematic to locate, correct, or delete personal information it controls.

To make a privacy request:

  • Use the Contact Us form and state that the message is a privacy request; or
  • Write to:
    Alematic Brewery & Coffee Bar
    6182 Chambersburg Road
    Huber Heights, Ohio 45424

Privacy requests submitted through these routes are handled internally by the owner.

We may need enough information to identify the relevant record and protect it from unauthorized access. Some information may need to be retained for security, accounting, transactional, recordkeeping, or legal reasons.

You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting Alematic.

Children’s information

The website and its current forms are intended for a general audience. They are not directed to children under 13, and Alematic does not intentionally request personal information directly from children under 13 through the website.

If a parent or guardian believes a child submitted personal information through the website, they may contact Alematic using the privacy-request methods above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, forms, providers, or information practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
